The Hunter Gallery opened in 2001 and has always prided itself on the high standard of work from a wide variety of artists, sculptors and furniture makers. There is something here to suit all tastes. The gallery is within an imposing Victorian building with large bright and airy rooms which lend a homely ambience to the eclectic range of art.
Long Melford is an attractive but bustling village which boasts the longest village high street in the country. Here you will find many shops, all with their own individual style, restaurants, two stately homes and a church of cathedral proportions.
Location
Long Melford can be found off the A134, 10 miles north of Colchester and 10 miles south of Bury St Edmunds. Other towns within easy reach of here are Cambridge, Colchester, Newmarket, Ipswich, Braintree and Saffron Walden.
